I Cannot Add PowerPoint 2010 Presentations to the Schedule

You do not have the latest version of EasyWorship.
In order to use PowerPoint 2010 files in EasyWorship, you will have to have EasyWorship 2009 build 1.9 installed.
If you have EasyWorship 2007 or older you will have to purchase the upgrade to EasyWorship 2009.

Check Your Version of EasyWorship:

  1. Open EasyWorship.
  2. Click on help, about EasyWorship.

    If you do not have build 1.9, you need to upgrade to build 1.9 from the page below.

If you already have build 1.9 Change EasyWorship Settings to use the PowerPoint application or install PowerPoint viewer 2010. Click Here for instructions.

The hook file for connecting to PowerPoint may not have updated.
Reboot the computer then download and reinstall EasyWorship.
You can download and install from www.easyworship.com/support

You could have a click-to-run version of office.
If that is the case. Follow the directions at this link to uninstall the click to run version and install the MSI-based Office edition.

You may have a 64 bit verison of Office.

  1. Open PowerPoint.
  2. Click the File tab.
  3. Click help to determin what version you have.
  4. If you have a 64 bit version of Office, you will have to uninstall Office then reinstall the 32 bit version.
  5. The 32 bit version installs by default from the office install disk.
